Thanks Manville!! But most importantly, thanks to you and JL Audio for making it possible.
Manville, how are the new lines of full range speakers going and will when we be able to learn all about them (if you're at liberty to say).
I've been wondering if can improve speaker placement of my front mains and the subs. I don't have many options except to place the subs to the inside of the mains. Basically swap places with the subs and the FR and FL as shown in the photo.
I'll really have to be sure I want to move them around as the Gothams weigh 360# each and the RF-83's weigh 100# each, not to mention having to run Audessy EQ again.
Which reminds me. I've been wondering if I set my system up correctly. (This is for you Manville). I have my subs cofigured on my receiver as 2 speaker mix mode. This means each sub has it's own dedicated RCA output from the receiver and can be EQ'd by the receiver independently, plus the signal is a mix of LFE and all of the bass signal below the crossover point set up at the receiver. I set this crossover point to 90 Hz. I have the Lp frequency on both subs set all the way up to 130 Hz. Both subs are set to "master" mode.
When I set up my system, I ran the Gotham's ARO separately for each Gotham. After that, I ran the Denon AVR-5308's Audessy EQ setup.
Is the proper way to set up my system?
Thanks for any advice you can give.
