Funny, Roeper and Kevin Smith reviewed over the weekend -- I thought it looked to promise SLJ's AND Ricci's best work in years -- maybe ever.

great movie loved it! Sam Jackson was awsome. Looks like Paramount Vantage Classics is making a name for themselves.

Money? It's considered a "Cheap" movie. I'd bet it'll get enough money to cover the expense of the the production. Heck I bet they are in the black already even before wide release, with some international distributors.

I saw that Smith/Roeper review. All I can say is, Ricci sure looked hot in those panties and t-shirt!

I don't remember her as having that good a body, she must have really worked out for this film.

i dunno.. there are some movies you just know are gonna be bad.. for instance, the acting in the trailer for Catwoman was so bad, you knew that if that was the best part they could find of the movie to show the public it was gonna suck

Finally saw the Trailer and I think this movie will be a sleeper Hit.

Time will tell.

I like the blues so this one piques my interest. Sam Jackson said he learned to play a few numbers "by wrote" on guitar for the part. He's actually on 6 cuts of the soundtrack.

I hate when people say this about movies, but: I have no interest in seeing this film. The trailer looked terrible and insulting.

The look in Ricci's eyes after being pulled on the chain trying to escape is enough to get me to watch.
