My VTF-3.3 Turbo had my HT room shaking from the beginning of The Flight of the Phoenix until the end. In fact, the over all sound design was brilliant. The background music was beautiful and the various storms, explosions, gunshots, and airplane sounds were riveting. It's a shame all of that was wasted on such a dumb movie. Still, if you have an excellent to outstanding HT audio setup, check the BD of this movie out, you won't regret it.

Yeah, its a shame that most of the best bass movies are awful dramatically. I don't care how good the bass is in Transformers 2, I am not watching it! Or the Last Airbender, or Pulse, or Percy Jackson, or whatever. Watching Terminator Salvation just broke my heart, as long time fan of the terminator movies, oh god. Flight was just barely watchable, although it mostly just reminds how good the original was, and same thing goes to a lesser extent with War of the Worlds. On the other hand, How to Train Your Dragon was a decent movie as well as being a bass fest. It's a good thing I bought my Hsu's mostly for music rather than movies, honestly, with my movies tastes, its not even worth owning an expensive sub for movies. In the end, it's all about personal preferences though, so this is just my irrelevant little rant!
