The digital channels with just a QAM tuner should show up on Channel numbers such as XX.x (Example: 12.3). These number will not match the channel numbers from the STB you have in the other room and are subject to change without notice. You will only receive the channels that are in the clear and not encrypted.

Read the manual -- chances are you will need to do some kind of channel scan to set the QAM tuner up to receive any available digital channels. That is how it works with my Panasonic with built-in QAM tuner. Comcast in my part of NJ (07974) offers only a few HD digital channels "in the clear" -- the locals (CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, CW, PBS) as well as DiscoveryHD and UniversalHD.Other HD channels, like ESPN-HD, ESPN2-HD, TNT-HD and the premium channels, are unavailable. Most of the SD digital channels are also not "in the clear".
