The 350 has 287HP stock before it is tuned, which means roughly 230 to the wheels (if memory serves me correctly). I agree the Vette should have handed it to everyone there, but it's all about the driver baby. As I said before, I have had my share of track victories in my TT when I had no business beating the other car. Same goes in the game as well (keeping the thread open
). You can have all the HP in the world, but not knowing the course, the proper apex, or the fastest lines, and you'll get crushed by a less-worthy car. Happens all the time.
I agree with the realiability issues mentioned by aronparsons. Granted, these things do happen, but there is no excuse for having your car break down before your first quartermile run when you've had at least 2 or 3 months to prep the car during preproduction of the show. Too bad too, 'cause that car could have caused some damage. Props to the chicka though for handing it to the boys.
