What automated sleds are available for the ISCO III? URLs to products would be great.

Many thanks,

Mark

I'd be interested too...preferably ones that are actually available rather than ones that might be available sometime in a few weeks / months.

I'm not sure if this is big enough for the ISCO III, but the UH380 looks like a large lens so it might work (you'll have to ask Shawn):

http://www.panamorph.com/ModelUH380.html

I've a feeling it was mentioned somewhere else that it could be done... I'll see if I can find the link.

Thanks Gary.

I believe it can work with some modifications as indicated by Shawn, but its best to check with him first to be sure

Yes, the M380 will work. A custom mounting plate just needs to be made to connect the Isco III mounting plate to the sled plate.

Shawn, Is there an RS232 option for this sled?

Thanks,

Mark,

Not at this time. However, there is an IR trigger and 12v trigger input as well. There is also a screen masking trigger output.

Mrk:

My "sled" is designed specifically for the IscoIII. I'm working on a mount for it for the Schneider now. Plan to start taking orders soon, probably next month.

For photo with a IscoIII mounted, see www.cineslide.com

Oh yeah, photos are in silver, actual unit is black.

Yes, just finishing the legal stuff for protecting it and me. We expect to start accepting orders this month, very early next month at the latest. I have been working directly with Schneider Optics and I have just finished a custom mount for their lens so now users will be able to use the Schneider or the IscoIII "out of the box". Note that the Cineslide is designed to accomodate any mountable anamorphic lens from any manufacturer, I just need to see one before making a mount plate. A technical user could likely make their own mount plate with a little guidance, depending on the lens. Some stationary mounts are not suitable for moving around on a sled, the stock Schneider mount is one of them. One must consider they are basically attaching the lens to a machine and whipping it back and forth, then mount must be designed to handle the forces of motion. The lens can't be able to move into the PJ's path or swing, lest someone shear off their PJ front, and/or crash the anamorphic. I will post a photo of the Schneider lens and it's CineSlide mount today or tomorrow. If you want information on how orders will be handled, you'll need to signup for the announcement list on the website. I must honor the forum rules and thus I won't discuss sales or marketing issues here. I think I can say there are a lot of people and others anxiously waiting (in line). I'm pretty picky about what I stand behind, which is probably the cause for most of the delay. I'll try to get a photo of a black unit on the website, too. Black is harder to photograph, but it looks sweet.

Cheers,
Scott
