Anyone have NAD T585 player?

Does anyone have or done a good demo of the NAD T585 Uni player?
How does it compare to Arcam or Rotel players or even the Oppo.
Thanks

I'm looking at buying this unit. Will it play SACD/DVD audio over HDMI?

I purchased a T 585 from American Theaters. We are working through resolution right now. The DVD player has a tendency to freeze up. The player says "reading" and then freezes up. Nne of the buttons will work. You can't even turn it off with the power button - only way out is to shut off the power at the power conditioner or unplug it to reset. Pretty expensive piece of gear to go through those hassles. Also not impressed with resolution. Getting a lot of black, "fizzy" areas during dark scenes. Not impressed so far - if I have a dud so be it - that happens. Will know better if I get a new unit to try. Apparently it is not the current model the line anymore...

I do know that for all intents the T-585 is the M-55 in classic series garb. That being said look at Satuday audio, they are blowing theirs out at $499 which for that unit is a steal.
Nad recently released the T-535 at a more reasonable retail of $599 as opposed to the normal $1299 retail for the 585.

I too am interested in the T585 but it sounds like it has as many problems as my current C521BEE Cd player. There is a reason Saturday Audio is selling them for $499.
