I have a smaller version of the 3000's. Bi polar speakers throw a huge soundstage that is very lively. I like that about them, some people dont.
They are said to not have precise imaging because of the big soundstage. I personally think they image just fine. It sounds as though my center channel speaker is playing in stereo mode with well recorded music.
They are big, heavy, can tip over easily and need al least 6" from rear walls and more like 8" from side walls. Have you actually heard them?
