Universal remote for 3412?

Hey guys/gals...I have tried doing my own research and have come up empty handed so now I turn to you. I am currently using a Moto 3412-I box from comcast in NJ and want to pickup a universal remote so I control my home theater as well. I am open to suggestions that would work with this box, just trying to keep price nominal, OR if somone knows how to reprogram the remote so I can make the volume buttons contol my reciver insted of the actual TV volume.

Almost any Universal Remote can handle this box easily. Not sure what you mean by nominal, but you can use anything from a inexpensive One-For-All's (<$20) up to a Harmony (>$200) and beyond.

The One-For-All's (available everywhere) have instructions controlling volume via the receiver, and I'm pretty sure the Harmony would as well.

There is alot of information on how to reprogram Comcast's remote for 6412 and I assume 3412 as well, located here: http://cjhengineering.com/hdtv/cable...6412remote.htm

You might be able to find a code that will work for your home theater system.
