Cashen,
What kind of and where did you get the rope light from? Is it LED or regular bulb style? Looks great...

Nice. How do you go about masking for 2.35?
Beautiful. How did you mount it to keep it 4" from wall? Is there an outlet behind the screen the lights plug into?

2" x 4"s offset it from the wall. there are other pictures in the set that show the way it is hung. Yes, i added a receptacle behind the screen to plug the lights into.

How far from the edges of the screen did you set the rope lights? Thanks

Cashen, thanks...and good job on the screen!

Great job..........A back lit screen will help in preceived black levels....any added light will help close down your eyes iris making the blacks appear better. Light behind a screen has a long distance to travel to get back to the screen to lower black levels.....you are getting a little reflection off your brick and ceiling but not enough to do a lot of harm.

here are some more pictures.

As you can see i added an outlet behind the screen, i just wired it to the one below it. I still need to get the ones behind the screen. Also, i think i got the 18' rope light. Its clear with yellow/white bulbs.

That is amazing! I hope I have as much skill when I attempt to do the same.
