I want to go with a group 3 or 4 leather, and I was told by Roman that the 7575 line is really soft. But I was curious how well it holds up. My parents bought theater furniture with really expensive top grade leather, but it got scratched to pieces and stained horribly, so they got rid of it. How well does the 7575 line or other group 3 and 4 leathers hold up to scratches and stains?
I am like Vili, I haven't received my chairs yet. Roman and I were talking as I had the swatches in my hand, I knew what I wanted and his suggestion to go with the 7575 did make sense, it was very soft. It didn't have a shene to it but had somewhat of a texture to it, it didn't have that slippery feeling. I don't think it could be scratched very easily. I ultimately did order the Group 4, the leather is pretty thick, I didn't have any problems with moisture issue either when I tried it. I am still curious how my dog is going to act on this furniture, he better not dig his claws!!
What I can tell you is that you can trust Roman on the information that he presents. If he makes a recommendation, its a pretty good one. So pick a color of leather, decide if you want leather or leather/vinyl, what type of texture you want, then let Roman help you decide... You are in good hands...
