Hi guys.
I am struggling with where to place my surrounds in a 5.1 sysytem. It's ina 13'x 17' living room. But, the main living space is roughly 12'x12' square.
Due to the placement of the couch in front of a window and 2 end tables, I have almost no room to place the surrounds. The forward placement of speakers is a non issue. And I have a BIC-H100 for a sub. Everthing sounds great but I can hardly stand to give up space to some clunky boxes on the end tables or on stands.
So here's my questions.
Are ceiling mounts acceptable? If so, what angle should be used?
Wall mounts are out, what is the next best option?
If I do go with a ceiling mount, what is the recommended brands/ styles? I have Velodynes and they are a heavy little bugger!
Thanks folks!!
Dave
