I'm still having a hard time deciding which LCD to buy. I need it for DVDs, xbox 360 and cable television as well.

I need a 40" + size and don't really want to go over 2500..what do you guys recommend?

You need to read the user's comments. I have not read the CNet review. I own the LF-40FH96 and love it!! I've owned it a year. As for reviews, CR identified it #1 (Mar 07) over Sony and plasmas, for displaying HD.

I have not viewed the Aquos so do not feel 'qualified' to give you an opinion on that set.

You might read this article before you buy any set: http://www.hometheatermag.com/hookmeup/1106hook/ I don't know if the Aquos is addressed but it should provide some clues as to what to look for......

If you are interested, here is another on the JVC

The LC-46D62U Aquos is considered the new Aquos, i just read reviews and it seems improved compared to the others.
