Advice - Contractor did not pull permits (Northern VA) - Page 2

OP - I wouldn't worry about it. The housing market is so hot that by the end of 2007 you'll be able to flip the sucker for 30% profit. Heck, anyone can get a loan these days. And all the experts say we're going up, up, up from here!

Heck, sell any gold you have laying around the house and buy real estate. Can't lose!

I'm in Fairfax, VA and in need of an experienced HT Contractor to design and build a 13 x 20 sq. ft. unfinished area.  Do you know of any companies in the area because I'm running into contractors that clearly do not understand sound proofing.  Thanks, Ron

Are you willing to put in some sweat equity?

If so, try BigMouthinDC. If not, you may at least be able to get some design work out of him.

if you find a contractor you like I could conduct a theater building and soundproofing briefing at your house, that is about all I would have time to do this year.

Get Shawn at the Erskine group to develop the basic layout (basic design service)

I've a contractor doing my basement and home theater right now in NV. He has done a few theaters but this is his first with all of the sound proofing, but he is very good and willing to listen.  PM me if you want his contact info.
