go with the one I went with, ISCOIII I was on the fence as to which lens to buy and a lot of people told me that that pj deserves the best glass you could stick in front of it, starting my install of the 11s1 with the ISCOIII and 2.35 screen tomorrow night with the help of a friend and forum member

Isco3, by a long shot. A cheap lens will destroy a good system.

I would say it all comes down to what you can afford to spend. If you have a limited budget I'd go with something affordable so you could at least have a CIH setup, and then sell it when you've saved up enough for a better lens. If you have the cash, by all means purchase a high quality lens like an ISCO. I'd rather have an affordable CIH setup than none at all, but that's just me.

Regardless of whether or not I have a vested interest I am of the philosophy that you buy the best you can afford. Its up to you to decide how much you can afford to pay for your lens. Obviously a product like the ISCO III is going to be superior to a value oriented prism based lens.

Great point. Do that which you can do with what you have where you are right now.

If you have a longer throw, you should consider a Schneider, too. Equal quality, just not as big.

Still wondering which lens Marantz will sell as part of a VP11/ CH package?
Wouldn't be suprised if it was a Schneider lens.

I am using the Marantz with a long throw lens for my setup. I am using the Panamorph anamorphic lens and have been quite pleased. It is a bit less expensive than the ISCO. I had a couple of questions during the install and the technical support was excellent.
