Hi, I see in this huge thread a few people have had problems with sudden shut down. I'm on my 3rd bulb now, with the new bulb having approximately 200 hours on it.
For the first time, my system suddenly turned off -- where the lamp light was blinking while the other two are solid. I cleaned the filters and took out the bulb and reinstalled it. The bulb looks fine, as I have experience with near 2000 hour bulbs being discolored and slightly warped.
First time, gave it a few minutes of rest, unplugged then turned it on. The boot screen displayed and I had video for maybe 2-3 minutes before it powered down with the same error code. After that, couldn't get it to start up.
I've taken it in for servicing, but can't imagine the bulb is bad. Ironically, I bought it nearly a year ago and kept it in storage until my 2nd bulb expired. I'm quick with bulb switching and switch them out around 1800-1900 hours if the screen brightness is flickering -- which is incredibly annoying. You think the bulb might still be in warranty if it is indeed the problem?
Just looking for some peace of mind or some info I that can help me deal with any potential repairs (and costs).
