any odd setup necessary for pc input on ae900u?

Thread Starter
i'm trying to hook up a PC and xbox 360 to my ae900u, and am having resolution matching issues...

is there any specific item i need to change for PC input on the ae900u?

i read a thread about the 700u needing some tweaking for the pc... is that still the same?

i've been throught the manuals, and nothing is jumping out at me.

I haven't had resolution issues with my AX100 other than the fact that it does NOT support 1080p via the VGA input. The Xbox360 VGA is set to 1280x720. I have the position set all the way to the right. With these settings its pretty much perfect on the AX100. YMMV.

The PC is a bit more touchy. I ended up buying a DVI-HDMI converter and hooking it up via that. This works great. I don't remember what settings I had to get the VGA working only that it was a pain. I also don't know about the gamma wrt to the PC. Of course with HDMI input there is no gamma issue. I actually bought a DVI-HDMI converter for $5 at monoprice and a normal HDMI cable.

The X-box360 VGA was completely washed out. I set the Gamma-Low setting all the way negative. Its hard to see the difference between the color depth on VGA vs component with the setting. Without this setting it looks pretty bad.
