Long time reader of AVS but this is my first post. I live in the city along 90/94 on the north side and purchased an indoor RCA OTA amplified antenna for use to compliment my Apple TV, however the only "real" channel it gets is channel 2, CBS, (which appears to be in HD). The picture is flawless, however the only other channels that show up are in foreign languages and are letterboxed with poor quality. I have line of sight to the skyline so I would think I'd get more than one channel?
I've done some searching but only find people with the opposite problem. The antenna I have is UHF / VHF combo. Any ideas?
I have a Sharp LC70LE857U that I am going to be setting up tonight and would prefer to watch more than one channel
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the reply! I assume you're referring to the TV settings? I believe I went through all the options last week looking for the solution and don't recall seeing an option to choose between Antenna and Cable for the one coax input on the back. I will double check when I get home tonight and if applicable post the TV model # as well. (It's a 42" Toshiba LCD, maybe 2-3 years old at most).
