need help making decision....olevia 537H or vizio VX37L ?

Buy local, just because you'll save yourself a major headache if something breaks within the first 30/90 days.

I ordered the 537h online and havent regretted the decision yet. Has the in home 1 year warranty, awesome HD picture, SD doent look bad, PS2 is great. I would say the Olevia but I have never seen the Vizio in person.

I was in the same boat.
The fact that the Vizio ,
1. Has a QAM Tuner
2. Could buy locally
3. Had better contrast
4. 1 Year at home Warranty
5. Much more appealing Bezel and case.
6. Available at Sams, we all know what that means


I love the fact I went with the Vizio. As a matter of fact I was in Sams yesterday and they dropped the price. I went to customer service and bam , they handed me the difference in CASH! The Vizio was a win win situation for me. My only drawback with the Vizio is there is only one RF input and no DVI input.

Doesn't the 537 actually have better contrast? As well as a 1 Year at home warranty?

Also, I think that the 537 has a QAM tuner (although it isn't publicized).

I'm only asking because it seems confusing when you list those things - as if they were what made you choose the Vizio over the 537.

Yes the 537 has QAM and as far as CR most people tend to say they are PR numbers.

I ordered from J&R and it was a good experience. One small screw up was because I had it shipped to my work place and I wasnt getting the confirmation messages thru my work. Once that was straightened out they were out of stock but actually sent me 1 that was going to be for someone else because I had ordered first. They went above and beyond with CS IMO.

I'm also trying to decide between Olevia 537H and Vizio VX37L. Olevia seems to have better reviews
