Cable TV to Projector (no PC)

Hi all

I want to connect my cable tv to my projector and bypass the PC. I am looking for a way to run the cable from the wall to some sort of converter that will output to s-video or a yellow rca. I'm not worried about the sound, I have that covered. Is there a simple conversion box or cable that can do this? I have looked all over.

Thanks!

PS. Currently I have a TV tuner in a media pc that is then connected to the projector via VGA. I would rather skip the PC due to resolution distortion.

Use a VCR as the tuner/modulator.

You could also use a cable box. Some projectors, (like InFocus) include VESA-to-Component Video adapters. You can use one of those adapters.

A cable ready VCR should tune in the non-scrambled non-digital channels.

For best results, use the cable box that goes with the cable system.
