After searching I haven't found a lot of posts on this LCD which I am considering. I would appreciate comments from anybody who has one. Specifically, has it had any known problems (banding, clouds, etc)? How is the SD PQ? How are the stretch modes for SD 4:3/ ( I expect the HD from a clean source to be spectacular!) Any issue, problems, etc to be aware of before I take the expensive plunge.

4:3 OK, BUT NOT THE GREATEST. HD IS SPECTACULAR ON HD CABLE. DVD VERY GOOD AND P.C. THRU VGA AT 1080-P. I LIKE IT OVER THE SHARP 57". I THOUGHT IT GAVE MY A BETTER PICTURE AND IT WEIGHT HALF AS MUCH. IT IS HANGING ON THE LIVING ROOM WALL. IT'S LIKE BEING AT THE MOVIES. WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. KNOT ON WOOD. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PURCHASE.
