I think Crysis is actually pretty awesome, Crytek knows FPS gaming, the best thing about Crysis was the way your suit power would change the way you play the game on the fly, from run & gunner to Predator style (yes Crytek please get the Predator license!). So yes it actually does a few things very very well, and is original in some ways - AI was also impressive, but I'd expect no less from Crytek.
I think Crysis was right up there on the same tier as Bioshock, and far far better (singleplayer) than Call of Duty 4. CoD4 was the same stuff that blew me away in CoD2, lots of LOUD NOISES! as you go on the FPS rollercoaster.
As for Killzone 2, I dunno. I am more interested in multi. I don't think SP will be as good as Crysis, more like CoD4 style rollercoasters but we will see.
