A2 problems with Peter Pan

I put in the new Peter Pan disc that came out yesterday, and boy does the A2 upconvert the picture nicely. But at various times throughout the film the picture sort of blocks up on me for whatever reason. It's hard tp describe really, like long square or rectangular blocks of color. It kind of looks like how the picture gets while watching DirectTV, when it wants to freeze up and the picture gets all blocked out.

Was just wondering if anyone has had this problem with the A2. I've had mine a little over a month and have never tried updating the firmware. Will that help?

Always update the firmware to the latest and then test, then post your results. It may have been fixed in the newest firmware.

Didn't they recall Peter Pan because of the salmonella thing?

I tried unplugging my Xbox 360 ethernet cable and using it for the A2 to try and download the firmware, but it kept saying cannot find server or something like that.

On the maintenance screen it shows that the router is working fine, but I can't figure it out. Dang it. I might have to try and get a disc from Toshiba instead.

If you don't have AT LEAST ver 1.2 the internet update may not work. The solution? Use the ISO posted in another thread to upgrade to 1.2 then internet to get 1.3, or wait a month or so and wait for a disc from Toshiba.

You might also just need to exchange Peter Pan (bad disc?)
