I realized today that the Ps3 and my Integra DTR 7.6 receiver I bought a week ago is not working well with the HDMI uplink. I had been posting earlier today about problems I noticed while watching movies with random blocky patterns and other little things, so I took the hdmi out of the receiver (coming from the ps3) and directly connected it to my Pioneer profhd1, and now all the problems are gone. No more issues with certain games pixelating.
So I am having the person who sold me this get me a new one so I can try and see if its the receiver, if so I'm going to not use it and use the direct hdmi connection or return the receiver for a better one that works correctly. I'm pretty torn up about this right now, can't believe that a receiver that claims to work with 1080p would malfunction with a gaming system.
