Sim2 owners which HD disc player?

Any Sim2 HT300 elink owners using a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player with their projector?

I have been researching the various HD-DVD and Blu-Ray players plus the new LG combo player and am totally confused about which players work with what tv monitor or projector. Will the HDMI on the Sim2 HT300 elink, which I bought new in October 2004 accept at HDMI signal from the new HD-DVD and Blu-Ray players?

thanks, Mike

You should be fine with ether format. I know a few forum members with the elink with one or both formats and all is well.
I would base my choice on which format caters to the movies you enjoy most. The LG player is nice but from what I have read has a few issues.
Which ever format you choose ( both looks equally great ) it will put new life back into your projector. Go for it and enjoy!

Hi Alan, I have been reading this website like a book for a while now and I like the idea of the LG combo player but the customer reviews have scared me off.

There are moies on both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD that I want so I will get both players. I really want the Toshiba HDXA2 but do not know which Blu-Ray between the Sony and Pioneer to get.

The Pioneer and Sony are one of the same. The Pioneer adds an Ethernet port the Sony does not have. Other then that they are identical. Pioneer makes the Sony for Sony. The Pioneers are scarce. You will not have any trouble finding Sony. Great machine.
