Best 1080P LCD?

from what i've read on here from user experiences. there really isn't a "best" 1080p LCD on the market.

considering the 3 models you are looking at, all 3 have been reported to have flaws.

i would suggest to read the applicable thread since each model has it's own and from there you could decide which you think is better.

Samsung is a last year model and completely lacks 1:1 pixel mapping, Sony has cloud/backlit problems, Aquos plagued with banding, the first four units of Olevia's new top 74x-series (with built-in HQV Realta scaler) has egg and bleeding problems - you pick your best. Rest of the crowd knows only less than these models.
Wait until Samsung's new ones start shipping although that scaler in the Olevia 74x models sounds really good (see other thread).

Sharp 42D92U will be out shortly. I'd wait a few months. No new Sonys but the Samsung and Sharps are coming out soon. For now the Sony 40XBR2 is very good. I don't like the Samsungs with the speakers under the screen. They should have more separation for good stereo. No set is perfect.
