How does the LG combo player compare to the Toshiba's?

I currently have the A1 and I was thinking of updating to the AX2 for 1080p and its better upscaling, but I might get the LG combo player if it is close in quality. Anyone have it, or should I stick with my PS3/AX2 set-up.
