Here is the manual.
So after reading the manual I am still confused about its abilities.
It says it supports USB 2.0 devices, but it does not say if it supports them at the HI-SPEED mode or just in the 1.1 SLOW mode.
The manual goes out of its way to refuse support of USB hard drives. It says they are not supported. Does this mean it will not work (meaning the drives are too slow or that they dont support large drives ((they do say they only work with 2k sector sizes)) or that they purposely refuse to work with hard drives).
It also seems to still only use 8.3 file names. I wish these companies would pay MS the royalty to support long filenames on Fat32.
So basically this machine just adds support for DIVX Ultra and 1080P to the capabilities of the 5960. (and maybe drops support for hard drives?)
Is 1080p support even important when upscaling DVDs vs 1080i?
Waiting for an in-depth comparison vs the 5960 when its out.
