Component to VGA questions?

I didn't know which forum to post in, so move if need be.

I was thinking about getting this kind of cable. I only have one HDMI, VGA, and one Component. I am currently using the HDMI for the cable box, but is there any difference between the PQ of the VGA with component to VGA cable, or Component inputs by themself? I'm just trying to run the least amount of cable with less mess behind the display. Cable is available at Monoprice dirt cheap.

The display is Olevia 337H.

That cable won't convert the component to a VGA signal type. For that you need a transcoder. Those are expensive and probably not a practical solution to this problem. I'd look into getting a switchbox if you're running out of inputs.
