DMR-EH75VS $429.99 I'm not sure where to post this. But Circuit City has a special on the Panasonic DMR-EH75VS for $429.99 including free shipping. I just ordered one. The price shows up when you put it in your cart. Seems like a great price.

Thanks Jeff. I just wish it had a bigger HDD, or capability to add one.

I'll be using it mostly to convert and edit VHS tapes to DVD. So the size of the hard drive isn't so important to me. But if you're using it to record tv, it does seem small, particularly when hard drives are so cheap now.

When I bought mine last week I got a $50 rebate off that price, for a net of $379.99. It was a Web-only deal, but I could pick it up at one of my "local" stores after paying for it online.

That offer expired on the 14th.

If you know someone living on Oahu, Hawaii. The Don Quijote stores are selling the same model for their everyday low price of $299.

It WAS posted here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...&#post10008849 just buried in another EH75 thread.

There was another post advising that J&R was selling open box units (with complete accessories and full warranty) for $299 a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the heads up. I went last night and picked one up. I then took my receipt to Circuit City and got them to price match for an eh75 that I had picked up a couple of weeks ago. You saved me a ton of money, dude. Thanks!

You're gonna love the EH75V, I've had mine since xmas, hard disk is a dream, 80GB is more than enough trust me. I was also worried that the 80GB would be too small, but it is not a problem after all. Fact is 80GB holds ALOT of material at LP and even SP. Then you just edit and add chapter points, burn to DVD, then rip the DVD to your PC to make as many loss-less copies as you want from there. You're gonna love messing with it, it's turned me into a damn couch-potato! I got 24/7 major crumb action and broken potato chips on the couch I've been experimenting with it so much.
