Why not get the VTF2.3?

I just got my VTF3.2 delivered yesterday... I must have gotten the last one... sorry.

I ordered one last week when they were already sold out. They said it should ship by mid-April....it's worth the wait if you ask me.

I called a couple of hours ago, and Dr. Hsu actually answered the phone , and was advised that they are discontinued and no more will be ordered, brought in. He suggested the 2.3 which is only 1 - 1.5 dB lower that the 3.2. HTH

When you said the last one, given the above post, you REALLY meant the last one.

I believe this is true. I needed a maple sub to fit into our room and was looking for a 3.2. I was told the maples were gone and would not be available anymore. When the blacks were gone that was it as well. I ended up with the 2.3. The $60 seemed like not much for more power but now it appears that it is no longer an option in either finish. I really like my 2.3 and feel it is plenty of power for my tastes.

I guess timing is everything... I placed the order 3/11 (Sunday night) and the next morning received an e-mail saying it was backordered. It shipped a few days later and I got it on 3/20.

All VTF's are out of stock now according to the website, except for the 3.3 in maple. What's the deal, new models coming or ??

Agreed, but will the 2.3 or 3.2 be available again, and when? (Guess I could call and ask.)

Its my understanding that the 2.2 and 3.2 are discontinued and are now replaced with the 2.3 and 3.3.

I ordered a black 2.3 yesterday and was told that it would ship the second week of April.

The maple 2.3s became available about two weeks ago.

And they are gone again.

You might want to call and see if they happen to get a return or some other B stock. No one seems to return them though.

Wow, I am glad I got mine in that availability window! I know I won't be returning mine.

I love my VTF3 MK2 and would not trade it for anything. Almost....
