Charter EOL'ing MOXI?

I just recently had Charter installed in my home and was glad to receive the motorola MOXI box. I had read it was a crapshoot on it or a motorola hd dvr. Long story short, over several phone conversations with tech support to resolve provsioning for the Moxi, I was told by 2 different reps that charter was going to EOL the moxi in favor of the Motorola hd-dvr (non-moxi flavor). Thus nulling any chance of the 4.1 software being released.

Has anyone heard anything else on this? Is this true? I need to know because in the next 10 days I'm going to decide on whether to switch to charter or haggle with DirecTV to upgrade my hd tivos to their hr20 boxes. Moxi is cool and all, but without USB hard drive expansion the Moxi is not a viable HD DVR. Not enough capacity.

P.S. Please do not start a flame war between the HD-Tivo and the HR-20. For my personal reasons, getting HD locals via satellite is more important than not being able to get HD locals at all. An OTA antenna is not an option for me due to geography.

Charter is working with Digeo on the 4.1 release. Regardless of what Charter is supplying for new DVR hardware, they have a large number of installed Moxi boxes and they will continue to support them.

By the way, Digeo has a new generation of Moxi box in the pipeline. It hasn't been formally announced and no details are available.
