I am in the market to purchase a 25 ft HDMI to DVI cable for a Blu Ray to Sharp projector install. I noticed the prices on Monoprice is very reasonable. I was wondering if anyone had any quality issues or comments about their cables. Please, only real endusers comment. I am not looking for a sales pitch for them

I have purchased HDMI, component video, audio, coax and data cables from Monoprice. All good quality, promptly shipped, and you can't beat the price!

Some of the cables are available with optionally heavier gauge wire and/or a "fancy connector." While these are not necessary to deliver a quality signal, they can make the cable more rugged physically.

I bought the cheapest DVI > HDMI cable they have and it seems to work just fine. However, it's only a 6-footer so it's not a very good apples-to-apples comparison with your situation.

I'm very satisfied with the overall quality/construction/performance vs. price paid.

I would suggest buying a straight HDMI cable and a HDMI-DVI adapter. The reason is one of versatility and future use.

HDMI connection will of course become the most common connection format in the near future. This means that most video related purchase in the future will use just straight HDMI-HDMI cabling, causing you to have to replace that special HDMI-DVI cable you bought. If instead you buy the HDMI cable and the adaptor separate, your good to go for any cabling needs now and in the future.

I bought 2 15ft HDMI cables (One with a DVI end), a 6 foot HDMI cable and a 3X1 HDMI switcher. All for under $100 shipped($93 and change)! The switcher comes with a remote and it is auto if need be. It all works perfectly. Great place, Monoprice.

Purchased many cables/adapter and whatnot from monoprice. as mentioned above great prices, shipping, quality is pretty good. long runs good too, got a 25ft DVI and 25ft optical cable and image/audio is fantastic from pc to tv.
the ONLY thing i would warn about is on some cables they sell the connectors might be a little larger than standard so might not fit right into some components

Another reference here for Monoprice. I use MANY 50' component, composite, and HDMI cables form them. Luv that place

Purchased my first cable from them in February. 24 gauge DVI-DVI cable 15ft in length. Selected 3rd day delivery and it showed up right on time. Cable works great. I would purchase from them again without any hesitation.

i agree. Monopriceis ACES! I found them on ebay long before i found AVS, then to see that they are a sponsor, i figure i made the right choice.

I purchased 2 HDMI's from them and it only ran me about 20.00 (tops?).

I've bought several hdmi cables here lately as I've getting my system and my parents new system up to snuff. Saved my dad from buying a $65 hdmi Circuit City jobber.

Has anyone bought any printer ink from them? I may check them out for that too for the office.
