Another option would be to buy two separate units - a four-in, one-out switcher, then plugged into a one-in, two-out distribution amp/splitter.

Sounds like that would be more expensive with 2 units and extra cables than finding a 4 in 2 out unit.

Is Geffen the only choice I have right now?

Potentially - doing it with our products would put you at $588.00. I'm not sure what other prices you're seeing.

There is a 4 in 2 out switcher from Pure-Link, according to their web site:

Its called the HS-42A 4-in 2-out HDMI switching system.

I have their 1 in 5 out unit and it seems to be of good quality.
