My apologies if l am posting this in the wrong place. I own a Toshiba A2 and a Philips 9000..i found a great HDMI swithcher that l wanted to let you know about
it is a Terk HDMI-31 it has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. I have my HD DVD and Blu-ray players hooked up to it as well as a Samsung all region player..it is outputing to a Benq 8700 projector with a DVI input. It works perfectly with no degredation of the signal, and the best part of all is that it doesn't need a remote as it switches automatically to the player you are using ..it detects which player is producing the signal and switches to it. So all you have to do is hook it up and forget it. The price is only $69.00 from Amazon which is much cheaper than a lot of other HDMI switchers l have seen. Again l apologize if l have used the wrong forum for this info. Kindest Regards to all..Multicat.

This looks like a good product but since I would be using it on my cable box which is alwalys on I wonder whether it would work right. It looks cooler than others I have seen. One guy said that it is HDMI 1.3 compat.... dont know about that but it would be cool.

What happens if you have two sources on at the same time?

I think it has priority inputs.

Well if that is the case perhaps you could put your cable box on the lowest priority if you leave it on all the time. When your HD DVD player or BD player isnt on then it goes back to the cable box. If this is the case then it merits more research.

If you have 2 sources or even 3 sources running at the same time you can switch manually between all 3 by pressing a button..it is very simple , small, and seems to work perfectly. Amazon sells it through one of their dealers on their site..the shipping was very fast..4 days. I am very happy with it. Kindest Regards, Multicat
