I finally upgraded my 11 year old 27" tube to 46" Sharp Aquos LCD. Wow, just wow. It looks incredible. I hooked up my 360 to it, enabled 1080p and the games are stunning!
I used to use XBOX Media Center to stream all my movies from my PC, but the poor old XBOX cannot handle streaming 720p, and what it CAN handle, looks pretty bad.
So, i am considering hooking up the TV straight to my PC via a 50ft DVI cable, and just setting it up a second monitor.
Is there a way to easily send video AND audio from the PC to the TV with one cable? I know about DVI to HDMI cables, can i also do audio?
Does anyone have this setup that could share some tips?
I am considering using Media Portal for my video needs. Of course, gaming would be cool on that TV as well, but i would need to get a longer range wireless keyboard and mouse.
