I don't want to start a flame war but I was just looking at the release sections at
highdefdigest and noticed that the total upcoming (from 3/27 forward) announced releases (with dates) for HD DVD currently stands at 57, while the total for BD currently stands at 52. Both lists are through 7/3.
(Coincidentially, if you count this week's BD releases, both lists stand at 57)
I understand that some releases that are all but certain to be announced soon (e.g. Apocalypto) are not on the list, and I don't know if there are others that highdefdiget may have missed, but it certainly seems that, at least from a pure numerical standpoint the HD DVD release drought is over.
