I don't think I can really say yes to this. Are you using it? If you really want to send it, I would throw it in there and get back to donating. She always leaves the computer on.

Do video cards aid a lot in production? I just have this running on an old desk top I borrowed from work. If the video card can help, I'll put one in.

Just depends on the video card on how many points they get. I have a gts 450 @ 700mhz core that gets about 7500 points pet day.

Of course anything you can do helps the science.

I have been considering an upgrade for a while now so it would be relegated to backup duty. So when I finally pull the trigger I don't have a problem giving it away as long as it would be used for the science and the team.

We are getting slaughtered here. We need to rally the troops. To think we were close to breaking the top 100 once.

It's tough to gain alot of ground now. They have changed the bigadv requirements so that you need atleast 12 cores or threads to run them. And that will go up to 16 soon if it hasn't already. So someone like me with two 4 core, 8 thread rigs is out of the bigadv game. I can't compete with the point output of bigadv rigs anymore.
But, I am back for a while. Just signed a new electricity contract for 6 cents per kwh so I can minimize my cost while contributing.

Well after many years, I've finally hit the 1,000,000 point mark. It's been a slow and steady ride. Here's to many more years.

Congrats!

Congrats on your 1st million. Heres to hoping that some day projects like this won't be needed because we will have already found the cure.

Just added a GTX 560 today. Back to folding.

Nice! We've been taking a beating lately. Maybe it's time to move this thread out of the PlayStation area. I mostly fold on my computer now and do very little with the PS3 anymore. It's hard to believe with all the members of AVS we only have 10 active folders.

Yeah....I don't use my ps3 either. Unless they did an update they aint worth much.
