What is the best source to rent HD DVD ?  

I think you'll see a mixed bag of responses on this one.

Personally, I've rented many HD DVD titles through Netflix without horrendously long waits. Maybe I've been lucky, don't know, but that's been my experiece. I know some posters here have had the opposite happen, where they had to wait a real long time to get HD DVD titles. I'd say try it out, even if you have to wait a few extra days to get it, it's better than buying blind.

I think BB has one huge advantage over Netflix: You can return your HD-DVD rentals to actual BB store around corner. Why would you ever want to do that?? Well, the moment the store receives your movies, it will mark it on the computer as returned, before they even send it back. Usually next day I get confirmation that next movie was already send, it takes another 2-3 days before BB actually acknowledge receiving it and by then I already have watched the new movie they send as replacement. So turnaround is much faster that way, I don't have to wait for the movie to be delivered back to BB before I get a new one. Another nice thing about it is I can pick one DVD for free from the store every time I do that, so I can watch newest DVD releases that don't come on HD-DVD, like Casino Royale and I don't have to wait for it come in mail either. As a matter of fact I'm trying to have some HD-DVD movies to return, every time there are some nice new releases coming up. Not sure how long this offer will last but it's pretty
