Westy Ltv-37W3 opinions

Howdy. I'm in the market for a 37-42 in LCD tv. This model looks good, but I was wondering what experiences others were having with it. Also, does the 1366x768 resolution size affect the HD picture? Why isn't it just 1280x720 (Seems like that would solve any kind of scaling issue). Also, how's the tuner in this model compare to the 720p 42in westy panel? Thanks.

anybody own this set? I mean, I know its only 37 inches, and the users here do love their big tv's, but surely somebody has had some experience with this tv and can tell me if it's worth the discounts I'm finding.

are you asking about the ltv37w3 or w2 model. not sure if there is a w2 model or not, but your thread title's are not consistent. I have the w3 model and love it so far. bright and sharp with beautiful images. this tv does NOT have a tuner and is one reason that it is priced as well as it is.

Have any of you experienced any ghosting of the images on your Westinghouse LVM-37w3? Is this a LCD problem or just my TV?

People usually blame the signal source for ghosting. If you see it on good-quality DVDs then it might be the panel.

I was asking about the 720 p w2 model. I made a typo in the thread title and I can't seem to change it. Sorry for the confusion.
