Listing Equipment in Signatures

Hello...

Nope, at all all. We have places in the user profile, a gallery, and a forum section for system configs that can be used to list gear.

Hi...Actually the search does no hit the signature. So that would not be the issue. It was like that LONG ago when we used a different product. We do remove signatures with gear as we can when seen.

I did a search for posting but could not find a reason for banning equipment in signatures.

I can see if it was causing search issues (mulitple finds) but that doesn't seem to be the issue from the post above.

Just curious. Sometimes it's real nice and convienent to know what equipment people have without having to go somewhere else to look.

Example for you. If I listed my gear in my signature, it would be longer than most of my posts. Thus A LOT of waited space.

Please clarity if we are supposed to report these with the report tool (I suppose only administrators have the right to edit signatures) or pm one of the admins. Here are two cases I see today.

Please use the report post system and the staff can take it from there.

Signatures should not affect searching as they are not stored as part of the post.

Now if a user is listing it in the post each time...then yes, it would be picked up.
