And in Norfolk we wait...and wait...while all other providers now have all 4 major networks...

still waiting.....although if CBS wasn't complete trash ota, I wouldn't care, then again after this weekend I won't be watching CBS till football season, which by that time D* has to have our locals...right?

Albuqueque, Buffalo, New Orleans, and Tulsa are supposed to be up next week.

Thanks ScoBuck for the info. I guess it's getting time to upgrade to Mpeg4 hardware.

yeah - I guess. BTW, I know you will get mixed signals, but I have been running 2 HR20's since October, and IMHO they work excellent. I do not hesitate in any way to recommend them to anyone.

Cox and Fios.

Could only spot check Good Morning America, Today and The View here in Jacksonville, but the PQ appeared as good as the OTA signals using the D* HR20-700.

OK you don't have any HD locals from D*. I thought you had them except CBS. Don't completely understand how Tulsa is getting locals above others with greater population. It's really not that big for me since I get locals HD from OTA.

I would be forced to pay that cancellation fee..

And I would be smiling from ear to ear when I did it

C'mon is Fios really that nice?

Well, I really cannot attest to that firsthand. I wish I could, but I live in the sticks of Northern Michigan. We may see FIOS in 2020 if we're lucky?

Fios is definitely regarded as the best broadcast HD money can buy though. That much is pretty well documented throughout these forums.

Maybe in between Idol rants I'll check it out.

Jacksonville, FL, J'ville not Jacksonville, NC.

So close yet so far.

I live in an adjacent, far less populated market.

When I do eventually get mpeg4 networks what range of channels can I expect to find them?

Is there a reason D* doesn't spot beam the LA's HD networks (which I'm receiving via mpeg2 at the moment) to my market and others while we're waiting for our HD locals?

Greenville/Spartanburg.
Is there a schedule or press release that has D*s rollout plan?

No kidding. I haven't heard our area mentioned.

I had guessed that part

It was the Greenville part I was questioning...

I guess this brings them to 56 markets which is roughly 2/3 (67%) of the US Population. markets by the end of 2007 - so up to 19 more markets (or 2 a month average) this year.

CBS WTKR OTA in norfolk is outstanding. I have been watching it for years. You have no clue what you are talking about.
