I am trying to get Dolby Digital out of my HR10 TIVO box. If I set the box to transmit in Dolby digital nothing comes out. I have the box hooked to a new Panasonic plasma via HDMI and then hooked to my A/V receiver via optical. I should be able to receive a digital 5.1 signal from that correct? I have also tried to go direct from the box to the receiver optically as well. I am at a loss here and getting very frustrated. I just want to be able to enjoy HD shows that are in 5.1 without having to do all this menu switching. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Pros:“Excellent value for the price - Paid $79.95 at Frys.”“Absolutely stunning 24p play back. Networked Apps are flawless (wired). Very customizable. Unbelievable DLNA capability. Ability to skip the unskippables in a DVD. Overall professional onscreen GUI. Audio Quality is surprisingly very good. Upscaling as a customizable, menu driven item. Very Apple-esque.”
