Well I have owned a HL-T6189s since June 2007 and have encountered no geometry issues with my display. Although the display is lightweight, its not flimsy enough to alter the alignment by moving the display around on its stand, or by pressing certain areas on the side or back of the display.
Yes there has been occasional person who has posted to this topic that they encountered manufacturing or shipping problems on one or more displays from the same retailer, but its not the norm. Most common problem encountered with this display series was the blue or purple halo issue which now can be resolved with a part replacement by service call.
When you finally get your display, hopefully you'll have none of the problems , and just enjoy the outstanding PQ of the Samsung.
