Best way to connect HDTV with a computer? (hope its in the right forum)

Thread Starter
forgive me if its in the wrong forum but i took my time and tried to find the right forum and this was the closest i could find.

I currently have a Philips 50PF9431D/37. I was wondering what is the easiest way to connect a PC to the TV without having to use an S-Video Cable (or, rather, to have better quality than the S-Video Cable). Any help would be appreciated.

Your TV has two HDMI connectors and a resolution of 1366 x 768. If you already have a DVI based video card just buy a DVI-HDMI cable and you should get a great picture from the computer. If you don't have a DVI card, most HTPC's will use NVidia or ATI based cards. Check out the Home Theater Computers area of this forum for more info.

Check out Monoprice for your cable.

If PC has DVI but TV has component - and its a long way away - can I "connect" to TV wireless? Over G network?

I don't think so.

Does anyone know of a solution that will allow you to wirelessly transmit a laptop video signal to your TV (e.g. for internet browsing)?

I'm aware of this solution, but wanted to find something smaller like a USB or PCMCIA card that will allow this.

All suggestions are welcome!
