if you don't mind another comment, I'd like to say that you might benefit a great deal by doing a couple of other simple things.
IMO, you should try switching the CC5 and the equipt. rack around and then tilt the front of the CC5 upwards, which is where and the way the CC5 was designed to sit.
Being further from the back wall should help the CC5's sonics.
So, you have 2 ways to easily help improve on what your getting from the
CC5 now, which is probably already very good.
I'd also switch the amp and the processor around but only to help keep that line of sight for the remote to operate well for you, since it would then be behind the CC5.
I don't usually criticize other peoples set-ups but it seems you could make this room better for no real cost and not much work, so I thought I'd offer the suggestion and hope you take no offense.
My own CC5 is closer to the wall then I'd like but I myself have no other real option at this point. To me it seems you do!
Ultimately, you should enjoy it the way YOU like it and the way the room works for you.
