The last time I talked to them on the phone they were ready to go, just waiting to decide on cabinet finishes and that was a year ago. I'm not Bitching. I'm just concerned.
A new store just opened in Northern Virginia (Evolution Audio Video) and on their website they list the 7C as one of the Aerial models they carry. However there still is no mention of this speaker on Aerial's website (at least last time I looked).
For some fascinating insights into what is going on at Aerial, check out Mark Haflich's post of 11/12/10 in the thread "New Theta CB HD (HBMI 1.4) To Be Delivered This October?"
It is on the forum "Ultra Hi-End HT Gear ($20000+)" and is the last post on the thread (which is currently locked).
Haflich was an Aerial dealer, but evidently is no longer. His info surely helps explain why Aerial is maintaining such a low profile these days.
I am a 10T/CC3 owner, and love these speakers. I hope Aerial prospers, as I consider Michael Kelly to be a gifted designer. He deserves the success he's had, and I hope that success continues.
