Ah, if only it were two years! I believe opening night will be in September, a couple of weeks shy of the four year anniversary.
But, depending upon schedules for a few folks, it could end up in October.
I'm leaning towards The Avengers
for opening night. I agree that it needs to be an "Event" movie.
Anyway, I didn't mean to hijack this thread. I do love the Model 9s. I had the room measurements done today to verify speaker function and room acoustics performance. The engineer who came to do the measurements was very impressed with the Model 9s. They were playing fairly flat down to around 20Hz. I just came up fro listening to music for an hour on just the 9s. Such a pleasure.
One fun tidbit, though. At the measurement today, the Seatons were putting out usable bass to 3Hz, though, thanks to a tightly-sealed room and the effects of room gain. It appears that we're going to have to reinforce the picture window.
