CNMSX PRO question

Any one familier with the inside of this processor? My clock is screwed up. It happened on 4/1/07 . Everything else works fine. I shut down my theater on Saturday night and the clock on the touch screen was correct. When I fired it back up on Sunday the clock was wrong. I tried to reset the time from the front panel and no dice. So I hooked up my PC and tried to do it through Viewport and no dice there. Any time you try to correct it, goes to 12:00 AM then runs to 2:00 AM then it cycles back to 12:00 AM again. It holds the date OK and the program is working fine. I need the clock because it controls my exterior lights and irrigation system. Thanks,

Can you connect via Viewport and the changes don't stick, or is it not possible to connect?

Yes, I can connect via viewport. Viewport reports that the changes were succesfull, but they do not stick.
I'm wondering if there's something like a dallas chip inside that has a battery backup and stores the clock information. It's obviously out of warrantee so I may just pull it out of the rack and crack it open for a look-see.
I have e-mailed Crestron and I should hear back from them within 24 hours.

There is a lithium battery inside to keep eprom settings permament. It is possible you've lost a segment on your eprom. Try reloading the firmware and then resetting the time.

Is this an issue from the daylight savings time date switch?

Saturday night/Sunday morning was the original date of the DST switch and most of the devices out there had the date hard coded. Don't know if the Crestron peice is affecte by this, but I have been resetting alarms and other devices today.

This was really wierd. I had e-mailed Crestron about it. They suggested that the "clock crystal" may be defective. Because that's the kind of guy I am, I pulled the processor out of the rack, placed it on the kitchen table and cracked it open to see what's going on inside. I grabbed a spare power cord and plugged it in. Because it's a pro, you can see what's going on via the front panel. I tried to re-set the time and it still wouldn't take. That's when I noticed it was still hung up on the date 4/1/07. I re-set the date to the actual date of 4/3/07 and everything was back to normal. I grabbed a couple of modules from the Crestron yahoo website. Is it possible that someone slipped in a April Fools day joke in one of those modules?
