Differences between Inno1 and Inno2?

I have followed some fellow members links to refurbished models of the Pioneer portable receivers. I am not sure which model to get. I will be using it at home and my car of course, but most of all while at work because my company doesn't allow us to stream xm off the internet. The inno models from Pioneer seem to be my best bet, but I am unsure which model. There is the Inno1, the Inno2, and then I am not sure if I need the CD-INCAR1/CD-INCAR2 for in my car. Will someone please help me?

The Inno2 has a feature called Sure Connect. The FM Transmitter in the original Inno was too powerful. The FCC forced XM to send a firmware patch to reduce the strength of the transmitter.

Sure Connect provides better sound through the FM transmitter by running a wire to the FM antenna in your car. If you have a mast antenna, it connects directly to the antenna and if you have an on-glass antenna, it adheres to the glass.

Here's a link to a description of the Sure Connect coupler. If you intend to use the Inno through the tape deck, or hard wire it to the radio in some way, it doesn't matter whether you get the Inno1 or Inno2.

Whichever Inno you get, you should get the model of the car kit that matches the model of the Inno. CD-INCAR1 for the Inno 1 and CD-INCAR2 for the Inno 2.

Here is info about the Inno 2, which contains a link to other Sure Connect information.

I am guessing it would be more convienent to run it through the tape deck on my car. Yes, I only have a tape deck

Seems they would pretty much be the same in the end and I should just get whichever one is the better deal.
